This is a place to put some of the material about battles or units that don't quite fit in the other sections of the site about the Poles, because they are too small or incidental to the main action.
This is a sizeable battle that took place during the Poles retreat from Kiev. It was a side issue to the thrust of the Soviet First Horse Army, but no less interesting for that. The description goes into quite a lot of details of the fighting and, specifically, the Polish method of defence.

A small action as part of the manouevre from the Wieprz.
A fairly famous raid by the Polish cavalry deep into the Soviet rear.
This is about an interesting unit, formed from police.

This is a very minor set of actions just at the crisis of the Battle of Warsaw, as Chełm held out against the slowly advancing Soviet infantry. Mostly pretty boring because it lacks much detail in the fighting, but of interest to me largely for another Police unit.
The Eyewitnesses section has a lot of smaller Polish actions, especially those involving cavalry.
